find some cover

Every now & then our planet winds up tilting the wrong way and for many of us that means it gets cold.

Despite how consistently this tends to happen, it never really fails to catch folks off guard. We're a bit surprised when that chill shows up. This in turn triggers a mild mix of outrage & regret; where did that summer go?

This is all fine; it's a standard part of the fall transition that makes living in 4-season climates what it is.

However, if you decide to harp on this looking for sympathy or commiseration, you've got to pony up and demonstrate some commitment to dealing. You owe the rest of us a sign that your words are backed with an earnest desire to cope and aren't just the chatter of fickle & empty whining.

In short:
Don't bitch about the weather if you can't be bothered to wear a hat.
